Islamabad United is a Pakistani expert and skilled Twenty20 franchise cricket group that participates in the PSL (Pakistan Super League). The group is nominally grounded in Islamabad, the capital state of Pakistan and was invented in 2015 to take a part in the initial season of the PSL (Pakistan Super League). The franchise is hold by Leonine Global Investments by its sports organization Leonine Global Sports. The franchise captivate the initial PSL title, defending Quetta Gladiators in the final of PSL match.

The group is lead by Pakistan’s most expert test skipper Misbah-ul-Haq and coached by erstwhile Australian cricketer Dean Jones. The group director is erstwhile Pakistani speedy bowler Wasim Akram.
