Chairman of the ICC (International Cricket Council) the respected Giles Clarke Task Force on Pakistan, Clarke has favored Pakistan’s establishment to organise the final of the PSL (Pakistan Super League) in Lahore notwithstanding the new wave of dread attacks which hit the nation this week.
Giles Clarke said in an interview that “I have a very strong opinion that we should never, ever allow terrorism and terrorists to dictate what we do. Terrorists have no place in our society or anywhere on earth,”.
Giles Clarke, who is including president of the England and Wales Cricket Board, said holding the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final in Lahore would send a powerful statement to terrorists that “we will not bow down to them”.
Showering the Pakistanis’ love for cricket, Giles Clarke said that the Pakistani’s has so much waited to watch some of the expert cricketers in gesture and justify to finally see its “heroes and world stars” playing cricket on home land.
Clarke said in the interview: “I thinks it’s extremely important that the people of Pakistan watch their heroes playing cricket at home against the best players in the world ─ and in the case of PSL, both with and against them,” .
The chairman Clarke, who spend time in Lahore previously this year to analyse the security position’s, lauded the “massive investment made” and the “determination of the people of Punjab and their dedication” to hold the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final in Lahore.
Clarke emphasize the value of holding the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final in Lahore as a stair toward carrying international cricket back to Pakistan. “It is critical, in my judgement, that Pakistan succeeds in doing so,” additionally he said.
