Flower tributes were paid on Tuesday to the CRPF jawan killed in an aggressor assault in Pantha chowk zone of the city, authorities said.
Senior officers from the CRPF, Jammu and Kashmir Police and the common organization laid wreaths on the casket conveying mortal stays of Head Constable Basappa Bajantri at Humhama Regimental Center of the compel.
Basappa was among the six CRPF jawans and two regular people who were harmed in an activist assault at Pantha chowk territory of the city on Monday.
He later capitulated to wounds at the armed force’s 92 Base Hospital.
The body of the killed head constable will be sent to his local town in Karnataka later in the day.
Activists have ventured up assaults on security compels in Kashmir, completing three assaults in the initial three days of the present month.
They flung an explosive at a police party in Nowhatta range of the city on Sunday evening, killing one policemen and harming 15 other faculty.
In another assault, activists had on April 1 opened terminating on an armed force guard on Parimpora-Pantha chowk sidestep street, bringing about wounds to two jawans.
