Air Force officer dies after fall from second-floor flat

A 50-year-old Air Force officer, posted at Fort William in Kolkata, was discovered dead early Sunday. A safeguard representative said Wing Commander S V R Moorthy kicked the bucket subsequent to tumbling from the gallery of his second floor level at the officer’s wreckage. Sources said the occurrence is being dealt with as an “unnatural passing”. While police have begun a test, a departmental request has likewise been requested by the Air Force.

The safeguard representative stated, “Wing Commander S V R Moorthy, posted at Advance Headquarter, Eastern Air Command in Fort William, kicked the bucket the previous evening in the wake of tumbling from the overhang of his level. One next to the other, the Air Force will do a departmental investigation into the passing according to methodology.”

“It was not known at what time he fell, as he was discovered lying underneath the overhang of his level around 5 am today… An after death will be completed to find out the reason for the passing,” he included. The representative said Moorthy, who hailed from Hyderabad, is made due by spouse, a little girl and a child. He had been posted at the Advance HQ six months prior and inhabited the officers’ chaos alone.

Fortress William is the base camp of the Army’s Eastern Command in Kolkata, inside which the Advance Headquarter of Air Force’s Eastern Air Command is arranged.
